The Punjab Government has separated Deputy Prosecutor General Punjab from following the case due to issuing statements against Raymond Davis. Deputy Prosecutor General Punjab Rana Bakhtiyar while talking to media on the occasion of Raymonds trial had said that Raymond Davis was not a diplomat and his act was not in self-defense. According to sources, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah took serious notice of his statements and ordered the Prosecution Department to stop issuing such statements. Besides, Rana Bakhtiyar was detached from Raymond case. Now, Additional Prosecutor General Punjab Abdul Samad will follow the case. Sources further exposed that Rana Bakhtiyar will tender resignation from his post tomorrow.
