The government has announced to keep the prices of petroleum products (POL) unchanged. OGRA said that the government will give subsidy of Rs 7.70 billion. OGRA spokesman in a press conference in Islamabad said that the petrol price would remain Rs 72.96/litre, high octane Rs 86.67, high speed diesel Rs 70.33, and kerosene oil will remain at Rs 70.95 per litre. Jet fuel has been increased by Rs 2.63 to Rs 3.83 per litre. According to the spokesman, it was expected to witness an increase of Rs 7 to Rs 10 per litre however, the government curtailed the petroleum levy and in-land trade margin.
