Summary One terrorist was killed and two others managed to escape after encounter with CTD in Sukkur.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel were present at a check post, set up on intelligence reports, at the Shikarpur Road near Sukkur when terrorists opened fire at them. The CTD personnel returned the fire due to which one terrorist was killed.
The CTD sources said that two other terrorists managed to escape from the scene. The law enforcement agency has launched a hunt to apprehend the other terrorists.
According to SSP CTD, Irfan Sumoon, the terrorists tried to enter Sukkur from Balochistan area. He further informed that explosive material was also recovered from the dead terrorist.
