PSO seeks permission for daytime transportation of petrol
Transportation of petrol was affected owing to the strike of Oil Tanker Contractors Association: PSO
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has requested Commissioner Karachi that the state owned multi-national corporation should be given permission for daytime transportation of petrol.
PSO administration was of the opinion that transportation of petrol was affected owing to the strike of Oil Tanker Contractors Association a few days back.
Authorities at PSO confirmed that as many as 1.5 million litre of petrol is still at the terminal while 1 million litre of petrol has been transported within the last 36 hours.
Sources revealed that 50 thousand metric tonne of petrol has entered into the maritime borders and will be off-loaded after approval by the port authority.
