Karachi's Lines Area faces scarcity of clean water

Drinking water is sold at very high rates which these natives cannot afford.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents of Karachi’s Lines Area are craving for clean water as they do not have the sources to buy expensive water, reported Dunya News on Sunday.

As per details, water in sector 2-D either does not come, or it comes after being polluted with sewerage system. The locals cannot even fill a bottle of clean water.



Furthermore, the drinking water is sold at very high rates which these natives cannot afford, and therefore, they are forced to use sour water.



With temperature likely to increase in coming days, it is feared that people, especially children and older ones, might suffer from heat stroke.
