KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against criminal elements under National Action Plan (NAP) continues in Karachi as three dacoits were taken into custody after an encounter in the city on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police apprehended three dacoits after an encounter in Shah Latif Town area. Police sources said that the arrested dacoits, Babar, Ayaz and Qadeer, were wanted in several cases of street crime.
Police have also recovered arms from their possession. A case has also been registered against the arrested dacoits.
On the other hand, residents of Malir Alfalah nabbed a dacoit who was looting the people in the area. The angry resident severely tortured the dacoit and then handed him over to police.
