KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court has ordered anti-terrorism court on Wednesday to conclude airport attack case and give a verdict within three weeks.

Two-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Ahmed Ali Shaikh heard a petition seeking speedy conclusion of airport attacks case being heard by anti-terrorism court.

The court also heard a plea against a police sub-inspector of CT Garden over allegedly releasing brother of a criminal named Nadeem alias Burger after pocketing Rs 30.5 million in airport attack case.

Counter-Terrorism Department Superintendent of Police, Muneer Sheikh vowed to file a report in the issue within two weeks after which the accused sub-inspector was released from detention.

Jinnah International Airport was attacked by terrorists in June 2014 claiming 36 lives and leaving at least 18 wounded. All ten terrorists were killed in counter-operation of law enforcement agencies.
