Shakargarh: IBSF resorts to unprovoked firing

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing in Shakargarh Working Boundary at wee hours on Thursday, resulting in retaliatory action by Pakistan side. However, no casualty has been reported so far.According to Rangers spokesperson, Indian forces started fire around 4:00am today at Shakargarh border after which cross firing lasted for 30 minutes. There have been incidents of unprovoked firing from Indian side in Poonch and Amritsar sectors in the recent past for which protests had been lodged with Indian authorities a number of times.
