ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Executive Board Meeting of National Accountability Bureau was held in Islamabad, reported Dunya News.
It was approved in the meeting chaired by Chairman NAB, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, that a reference will be filed against the illegal allotment of land worth 53 billion rupees within Sindh.
An approval was also given in respect to filing a reference against the former president National Bank Syed Ali Raza on the charge of embezzling 18 crore dollars.
Moreover, a reference will also be filed against the former IG SIndh Ghulam Haidar Jamali on the charge of illegal appointments as was revealed in the meeting.
A declaration after the meeting also revealed that inquiries will be started against the administration of Punjab University over illegal appointments and also against MNA Sultan Hinjra over illegal allotment.
The Executive Board of NAB also review the complaints filed against Speaker KP Assembly Asad Qaiser as there are allegations of misuse of power against him.
