SHC orders shut down of alcohol bars across province
The shutter down would continue until the formation of proper procedure.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday has ordered to close bars selling alcohol across the province.
According to details, the court has instructed the authorities to continue shutter down until the formation of proper procedure.
Earlier, police had increased their activities against alcohol vendors after carring out major crackdowns throughout Punjab as toxic liquor killed 42 in Toba Tek Singh.
100 liters of toxic liquor was seized from the area Baghbanpura in Gujranwala where police arrested seven criminals.
In Bhakkar, a whole truck containing toxic liquor was caught. The police seized over 12,000 bottles of alcohol. The driver and conductor of this truck were also arrested.
