NA Standing Committee for Education while rejecting the transfer of Ministry of Education to provinces has sent its proposals to the Constitutional Committee. NA Standing Committees meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ch. Abid Sher Ali. The members were of the view that the Federation should keep the Ministry of Education. They said that syllabus was symbol of Federation, and transfer of the ministry will create rifts among provinces. The committee has demanded to submit the report of 6 students of Quaid-e-Azam University for passing them illegally.
