Punjab DG Rangers attends flag lowering ceremony at Wagah
Major General Azhar Naveed Hayat encouraged soldiers, officers by attending the ceremony
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Azhar Naveed Hayat attended the flag lowering ceremony at Wagah border on Saturday, reported Dunya News.
DG Rangers was given a warm welcome by Deputy Director General (DDG) Brigadier Shahid Mehmood and sector commander Sutlej Rangers as he reached the border.
More than thousand people attended the ceremony and chanted slogans to encourage the soldiers. DG Rangers also praised soldiers for their courage and valour.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Azhar Naveed Hayat distributed gifts among the soldiers.
