Summary ECP names 85 MNAs for providing incomplete tax returns, clarification notices issued
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) asked clarification from 85 members of National Assembly on Wednesday due to unclear tax returns.
Recently, investigation of tax returns was conducted by ECP in which they named various dignified politicians in the parliament who have provided unclear information about assets.
PTI chairman Imran Khan, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Jamiat e Ulema e Islam chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman were a few big guns in the list.
These 85 MNAs have been issued notifications for clarification and asked to provide complete details about assets. Other names include Sheikh Rasheed, Aftab Sherpao, Ameer Haider Hoti and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab.
