Pakistani nuclear scientist and a renowned nuclear physicist Dr Samar Mubarakmand has said that Pakistan is self-sufficient in labour and refining technology of minerals and warned that the foreign companies would take away the raw reserves with them, if given the responsibility. Talking to media after hearing Rikodak case in the Supreme Court, Dr Samar said that he presented the feasibility report in the court and added that our country has ample manpower and the technology to refine the minerals, and we dont need much funds for the said project. He said that Pakistan should carry out mining for it would benefit the country. He maintained that the foreign country would give a meager profit of $60billion, adding that they would also took away the raw minerals to abroad. He asserted that there are a huge coal reserves in Tharparkar area.
