The political heavyweights are fighting tooth and nail to claim one of the heart racing mayoral elections in Punjab.
Regardless of who is declared winner, the mayoral elections is Faisalabad would be remembered for days to come.
Something that really makes this encounter the mother of all mayoral elections is the involvement of two political heavyweights both of whom hail from the same political background and which make this competition certainly out of this world phenomenon.
On one hand, the provincial Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah group is backing a candidate Malik Raziq while on the other hand; Chaudhry Sher Ali group is putting all its efforts behind Shiraz Kahlon.
Both the political groups of the same political party have hung banners and flexes throughout the city to gain a psychological advantage over their opponents.
Regardless of who is declared winner in the mayoral elections, the ultimate victor will be PML-N at the end of the day.
Besides both the groups are confident enough to claim the race for Faisalabad and are therefore predicting their wins accordingly.
