ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has formed a five-member committee to probe alleged technical snag that claimed 47 lives in a plane crash on Wednesday.
The federal minister directed immediate probe of PK-661 aircraft crash that happened today near Havelian. The flight was on way to Islamabad from Chitral and was scheduled for landing at 05:30pm.
However, the tower control lost communication with the cockpit after departure and it was confirmed by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Pakistan International Airline (PIA) and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) afterwards that the plane had met an accident.
The team that has been put together by Chaudhry Nisar comprises of members of CAA, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and counter-terrorism force.
