FATA most impoverished part of country: Abdul Qadir Baloch
The lawmaker said that the poverty percentage in the country stood at 38.8 percent
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Saifran Abdul Qadir Baloch has declared Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) the most impoverished part of the country on Monday.
During a query break in National Assembly (NA) session today, the parliamentarian said that FATA was granted Rs 2.19 billion under development budget in current fiscal year 2016-17 and poverty ratio there was 73.7 percent.
In Balochistan, the poverty rate was 71.2 percent, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) it was 49.2 percent, Baloch said.
The lawmaker said that the poverty percentage in the country stood at 38.8 percent.
