KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents of Labour Square building in Gulshan-e-Maymar area of Karachi protested against their eviction on Sunday.

The building that was made for the labour department is being used as a shelter by the flood victims.
The district administration, anti-encroachment cell officials and heavy contingent of police reached the site over court directions and asked the residents to vacate the flats.
On hearing the orders, the occupants got furious and strongly protested against the evacuation. They also refused from abiding by the orders.

One man tried to commit suicide while jumping from the roof whereas a woman attempted to set herself on fire.
However; the people stopped them from the suicide move.
