Summary Container owners and drivers have not been paid as yet by the authorities
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Although the capital city was lucky enough not to witness the nightmarish consequences of Nov 2 sit-in as the ‘Kaptan’ called it off just at the eleventh hour, however, the superabundance of containers is still adding adding miseries of locals residing in the capital city.
The irony is that the containers were filled up with sand, mud and some other material and the owners, drivers and other persons associated had to bear huge losses as a consequence of not getting these containers back on time. It has also been reported that money has not also been paid as yet.
Turned out that the miserable condition of the containers’ owners when let known to the relevant authorities, proved helpless.
