ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a grand ceremony held inside Aiwan-e-Sadr, Maryam Aurangzeb newly appointed minister of PML-N took oath as Minister for Information, Broadcasting.

President Mamnoon Hussain expressed on the occasion that the information ministry demand that the policies of the government should be carried forward.
He also expressed that rules and regulations would soon be drafted for print and electronic media with the coordination of PEMRA and broadcasting houses in order to get the authentic and credible news be let known to the masses.
The newly appointed Minister for Information, Broadcasting, Maryam Aurangzeb met the President afterwards. In the meeting, President Mamnoon Hussain expressed his hope that the newly appointed minister would bring out the best in her for serving the nation and also the country.
