Summary Awami Muslim League workers and police came face to face outside Lal Haveli in Rawalpindi today
RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Two workers of Awami Muslim League (AML) were on Thursday arrested by police in a crackdown outside Lal Haveli, AML chief Sheikh Rasheed’s residence, reported Dunya News.
According to details, AML workers got furious when police arrested a worker outside Lal Haveli. The workers raised slogans against the government and termed these arrests as government’s ‘dictatorial tactics’.

Talking to Kamran Khan on Dunya News, Sheikh Rasheed said that forty police cars were outside Lal Haveli. He said that the public meeting was going to be held under any condition at Lal Haveli on Friday. When asked what his strategy would be if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan wasn’t allowed to reach Lal Haveli, Rasheed said that some alternative would be looked for but public meeting will be held anyway.

On the other hand, two AML workers were arrested by police outside Lal Haveli after exchange of harsh words with them.
