Punjab CM suspends Kasur Health EDO in surprise visit
The Chief Minister reprimanded Health EDO over poor sanitation
KASUR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and suspended Executive District Officer (EDO) concerned for negligence over unsanitary facility.
During his surprise visit, the Chief Minister reprimanded Health EDO over poor sanitation before subjecting his services to suspension.
Meanwhile, a medic was encouraged by Shehbaz Sharif for successfully treating a patient so that his leg was not needed anymore to be dismembered.
Earlier in the day, a statement was issued by the office of the Chief Minister that criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over its ‘Islamabad shut down’ call.
The government stated that PTI was to protest in the federal capital at expense of progress in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
