Summary PML-N doesn't believe in politics of aggression, say Rashid, Ahsan Iqbal, Amir Muqam in Mardan rally
MARDAN: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervaiz Rashid has on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan won’t be seen anywhere on October 30. He said that PML-N did not believe in the politics of aggression, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a public meeting at Mardan today, PML-N leaders including Pervaiz Rashid, Ahsan Iqbal, Amir Muqam and others bitterly criticised PTI. Pervaiz Rashid said on the occasion that PML-N believed in the power of ballot, not baton. He said that he could bet Imran Khan won’t be seen on October 30. He said that PML-N still has the power to dislodge PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and that the provincial government was on PML-N’s mercy. “If we wish to, we can throw PTI government today and prove our numerical strength”, Rashid said.
Rashid said that PML-N never believed in politics of aggression. “I can never ask a public gathering to attack someone’s house”, he said. He added that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif was going to be with the nation through thick and thin.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Chaudhry Ashan Iqbal said on the occasion that the terrorism was at its peak in Pakistan in 2012 but there is peace here today and the terrorists were on the run. He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a national project and everyone will benefit from it. He added that the federal government made over 100 projects for KP during the last one year.
“Whenever Pakistan starts making progress, some people from within stand up to hinder the process”, said Iqbal. He said that PML-N would be able to secure two-thirds majority in the coming elections due to Imran Khan’s politics. “Imran Khan will continue his ‘left-right’ on the roads and we’ll continue working for Pakistan’s progress”, he said. He added that Pakistan was being called as ‘heaven for investors’ because of CPEC. He claimed that the people of Balochistan and KP will benefit more from CPEC than the people of Punjab.
He also welcomed Jamshed Khan into PML-N on this occasion.
PML-N leader Amir Muqam also addressed on the occasion and bitterly criticised PTI’s provincial government.
