Karachi: Gang war accused killed in encounter with Rangers
One gang war accused was killed in encounter with Rangers in Mir Naka area of Malir in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Rangers conducted an operation in Mir Naka area of Malir in Karachi on Thursday on a tip off that gang war accused area present in the area during which gang war accused opened fire at raiding party. Rangers personnel returned the fire as a result one gang war accused was killed and two other managed to escape.
Sources said that the dead accused named Younus was member of Ustad Taju group of Lyari Gang war while two of his accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
Separately, a gang war accused was arrested in injured condition after an encounter with Rangers in Baghdadi area. A Rangers spokesman said that the arrested person was involved in several cases of extortion.
On the other hand, police carried out a search operation in areas near Cantt Station and apprehended at least 11 suspects. The arrested persons were shifted to police station for further investigation.
