The Lahore High Court on Friday dismissed a plea by a local lawyer Arif Gondal to ban the WikiLeaks in Pakistan, Dunya News reported. During the hearing, Justice Azmat Sheikh of LHC asked Arif Gondal advocate, Do you want to keep the masse in darkness through banning Wikileaks?The Justice added that There is nothing bad in knowing the truth as its 21st century; you must have courage to listen to the truths. Later, after terming it as un-maintainable, the court dismissed the petition. The petitioner was of the view that the leaks were defaming the leadership of the country and spoiling its ties with the Arab countries and thus must be banned inside Pakistan.
