Summary Police conducted search operation in different parts of Karachi and apprehended 28 persons.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi as 28 suspects, including five accused, were taken into custody during police search operation in different parts of the city on Sunday night, Dunya News reported.
Police carried out a search operation in Rizvia area of Karachi and apprehended two accused. Police sources said that the arrested persons were wanted in several cases of street crimes.
Gulbahar and Dadu city police conducted a joint operation in Gulbahar area and arrested three accused. SSP Central informed that the arrested persons, Allah Dino, Zahid and Sohrab, were involved in murder, robbery and street crimes. They were handed over to Dadu police for further investigation.
Police also conducted an operation against drug peddlers in PIB Colony and arrested 12 drug addicts.
Police also carried out a search operation in hotels around Cantt Railway Station and arrested 11 suspects. The arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
