New York (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met his Japanese counterpart and discussed matters of mutual interest in detail, reported Dunya News.Nawaz Sharif was of the opinion that both the countries were co-operating with each other in investment, business and power sector.

He also told that both the countries were also co-operating in science and technology, basic infrastructure and capacity building.

Nawaz Sharif was also hopeful that more Japanese companies would invest in various sectors inside Pakistan. The premier also said to his Japanese counterpart that both the countries were partners in economic development and that the trade volume between both the countries was 1.86 billion.Nawaz Sharif expressed that Japan should consider Pakistan’s inclusion in Nuclear Supplier Group. He was also of the opinion that Pakistan is actively involved in rehabilitation process in Afghanistan.

Prime Minister also informed his Japanese counterpart about the Indian atrocities in Kashmir. He stressed that the international community should stop India from committing human rights violations inside Kashmir.

At the occasion Japanese Prime Minister offered assistance to Pakistan in anti-terrorism and economic assistance. He also condoled with PM Nawaz Sharif over recent terrorist activities within Pakistan.Japanese Prime Minister appreciated the recent government’s economic policy and also Nawaz Sharif’s vision regards to peaceful neighborhood.

Later on, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also met the Turkish president. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affair Tariq Fatmi and Sartaj Aziz and PM s adviser on Foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz assisted the premier in the meeting. Turkish foreign minister and other ministers were also present at the occasion.

Nawaz Sharif informed the Turkish President about the atrocities by the Indian forces inside Kashmir. The Turkish president openly affirmed Pakistani’s stance over the issue.
