Summary Prime minister briefed US secretary about the achievements in Zarb-e-Azab

Lahore (Web Desk-Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged the international community to draft a detailed policy on refugees.

In his speech at the United Nations Economic and Social Council chamber, PM Nawaz Sharif expressed that return of the refugees inside Pakistan to their home is in favor of both the countries i.e. Pakistan and Afghanistan. He also stated that despite low grants from world community, the hospitality of Pakistan towards the refuges didn’t lessen at all.

“The United Nations should also take into account the reasons behind forced migration and internally displacement.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met US Secretary of State, John Kerry. In the meeting, the prime minister briefed US secretary about the achievements in Zarb-e-Azab.

Nawaz Sharif also mentioned the Indian atrocities in Kashmir in the meeting and reminded Kerry of Bill Clinton’s promise over Kashmir.

The premier also met the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key. Both the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, the prime minister has also written a letter to heads of permanent members of the Security Council.
