RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Atleast one person was killed and two sustained injuries after a cylinder exploded at a CNG station in Rawalpindi.

The incident occurred at a CNG station located on Adiala road.

A strong blast happened followed by the explosion of cylinder after which a part of the CNG station demolished.

Multan resident 25-year-old Waqas died on the spot after receiving severe burns whereas two injured were immediately rushed to the hospital.

Shops in the nearby areas of the CNG station were also partially damaged.

Rescue officials reached the scene on time amnd extinguished the fire due to which no major loss was caused.
