Tax directory 2015: PM Nawaz paid Rs 2.2 mn, Imran paid Rs 76,000 rupees
Senator Taj Afridi has paid the highest tax among the parliamentarians and senators
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday issued the Tax Directory of the year 2015 according to which Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif paid Rs. 2.2 million as tax in 2015 while Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan paid Rs. 76,000.
According to the details, PM Nawaz paid Rs. 219,4000 while Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif paid 7,600,000 income tax whereas Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar paid Rs. 391,3000. Senator Taj Afridi paid Rs. 4,170,0000 while PTI’s Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jehangir Tareen paid Rs. 3,760,0000. Senator Aitzaz Ahsan paid Rs. 2,500,0000 income tax. Opposition leader Khurshid Shah paid Rs. 113,000 while Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar paid Rs. 847,000 whereas Speaker National Assembly (NA) Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid 1,373,000. Jamaat Islami chief Siraj-ul-Haq paid Rs. 51,000, whereas Shaikh Rasheed paid 312,000 income tax.
