The law enforcement agencies managed to foil a terror bid and apprehended two terrorists, Dunya News reported on Friday. Sources said that the terrorists wanted to target key buildings located at Red Zone besides key figures. In the meantime, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik summoned emergency meeting of the security agencies. The agencies personnel briefed the minister about the copped terrorists and told him that they were being grilled. The minister ordered the checking of ID card before entry into the red zone. Later, while talking to media Rehman said that the miscreants wanted to destabilize the country, but vowed to foil their designs. He hailed the police for averting a big terrorist activity. He said that of the two held terrorists one was to hit a mosque in F-8 while the other was to target he parliament.
