KARACHI (Dunya News) – A key meeting of - Rabita Committee headed by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar is underway, reported on Wednesday.
According to details, a constitutional and legal consultation over amendment in MQM’s mandate would be held during the meeting.
The participants would also take the issues of changing MQM’s letter head and PS-127 by-election under discussion.
On the other hand, anti-terrorism court in Karachi has sent 44 MQM workers including three leaders Kanwar Naveed, Qamar Mansoor and Shahid Pasha to jail on judicial remand.
Investigation officer has also been directed to submit challan in fourteen days.
It is pertinent to mention here that a case under the provisions of terrorism, vandalism and rebellion attempt was lodged against MQM workers at Artillery Maidan Police Station.
