Summary Sheikh Rasheed wanted to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, claims Tanvir
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanvir has said that the government’s deliberation has started over filing a reference in the Supreme Court in matter of Altaf Hussain, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief’s anti-Pakistan speech, reported Monday.
While delivering an address at a private university, Tanvir said that the Supreme Court could ban the political party in light of the reference.
He said that the government was carefully examining anti-state statements of the Altaf Hussain. While talking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman, Imran Khan’s call for protest he, sarcastically, prayed the Almighty to put him on the ‘right path.’
He said that political cousins, Pakistan Terhreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek, had unsuccessfully tried earlier to topple the democratic government and could try again.
Sheikh Rasheed wanted to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz but have resorted ‘mischief’ over disappointment.
