Karachi: Rangers detain 2 members of MQM's militant wing from Kemari
Raids were being conducted in order to apprehend the accomplices of the terrorists
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers on Friday detained two members belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) militant wing after conducting a raid at Kemari. Large sums of ammunition were recovered from the detained culprits, reported Dunya News.
Rangers’ spokesperson stated that both terrorists, named Samad Iqbal and Syed Martaz, were involved in target killing and spreading unrest in the city. Two hand grenades, one light machine gun (LMG), four submachine guns (SMGs), one 22-bore rifle, two 30-bore pistols and 1365 bullets were recovered from the culprits.
Rangers’ spokesperson said that the arrested terrorists were involved in supplying ammunition, adding that these weapons were used in target killing and for spreading unrest. Raids were being conducted in order to apprehend the accomplices of the terrorists.
