Another three new F-16 aircraft would reach Pakistan on Saturday from the US, bringing the number of such fighters in Pakistan Air force to 12. According to Defense sources, the jets are scheduled to reach the country on Saturday (today). Pakistan had signed a contract with the US Government in 2005-06 for the acquisition of 18, F-16 C/D Block 52 aircrafts. Under this arrangement, the PAF would receive these state-of-the-art aircrafts from the US in staggered batches. In October, three F-16 C/D Block 52 high tech fighter aircrafts arrived, the sources concluded.
