Flood in River Chenab inundates more than 60 Jhang villages

JHANG (Dunya News) – Various areas in Jhang were inundated after flood in Chenab River on Thursday.

The flood water entered into nearby areas and has affected crops spread over hundreds of acres of land.



More than 60 villages of Jhang district are under water which also includes several villages of Athara Hazari and Ahmed Pur Siyal.



People are facing immense difficulties due to the flood and are forced to migrate to safe places.



Incoming water flow at head Trimmu point in River Chenab is 1,45,325 cusec whereas the emission is 1,32,525 cusec.
