Eid-ul-Adha festivities continued across the country today on Friday to commemorate the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to God. A large number of people in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Swat, Malakand, Kohat, Mardan, Sargodha , Sailkot and other parts of the country offered Hazrat Ibrahim Sunnah today. Welfare organizations continued distributing sacrificial meat in the deserving and needy. Instead of individual sacrifices, collective sacrifices were witnessed more on this Eid-ul-Adha. Special arrangements have been made for waste management on Eid-ul-Adha. Whereas, Security was also on high alert. Eid al-Adha celebrations start after the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat.
