PML-Q leader Ch. Pervaiz Elahi said that there were Rs 76 in the Punjab treasury when he left the government, but now Punjab governments overdraft has reached Rs 200 billion. In an interview in with Dunya News programme News Watch, he said that Punjab government was running on a stay order from last one and a half year. He said that now courts are independent and we will try to end this stay order and hold new elections. He said that in case of new elections, our people will return to us and some of them have started to return back. He said in this way independent candidates will not join PML-N and if PPP candidates dont go to PML-N then it cannot make a government in the province.
