Interior minister takes notice of death of British woman in Jhelum
Nisar directs Rawalpindi RPO, Jhelum DPO to carry out transparent investigation of the case
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of Interior Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday took notice of the death of a woman of British origin in Jhelum and ordered prompt investigation of the matter, reported Dunya News.
According to the spokesperson of the Interior Ministry, Nisar directed Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer (RPO) and Jhelum Divisional Police Officer (DPO) to carry out transparent investigation of the case under their supervision.
Interior minister said that the matter be investigated as soon as possible while ensuring that all requirements of law and justice are met.
