A case of the blast at CID office has been registered in Artillery Ground police station. Death toll in the attack has reached to 18 while more than 150 people were injured. The government has announced Rs 5 lakh for the each family of the deceased. It is also learnt that cameras installed towards PIDC side were not working so the police were trying to get footage from cameras of other buildings. Today, namaz-e-janaza of 8 CID and FC officials was offered which was attended by Interior Minister Sindh Zulfikar Mirza and other high level police officials. Talking to media, Mirza said that Pakistan was in state of war. The Interior Department was working well to contain these incidents, he added.
