The federal government has decided to continue the one-day schedule of gas-loadshedding for the industries in Punjab whereas next round of talks would be held in December for the rescheduling of the loadshedding plan, Dunya News reported on Monday. An eighteen-member delegation of Faisalabad Textile Factories called on the federal minister for textiles Rana Farooq Ahmed Khan in Islamabad today and had lengthy rounds of talks with the minister and also with the Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Naveed Qamar. The representatives of the industries demanded that the gas loadshedding plan should be uniform throughout the country and that the federal government directive of one-day loadshedding. It was decided in the meeting that only one-day gas loadshedding in two weeks plan would be followed whereas the next round of talks would be held in December to reschedule the plan of loadshedding. The industrialists of Faislabad have said that tomorrow usual activities and work would be carried out in the industries of the city.
