Talking to notable religious clerics during a meeting with them, Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that the contribution and role of religious scholars is an invaluable part of our nations history and the nation is proud of it. He also said that the nation is grateful to those scholars who resisted the anti-Pakistan policies of Pervez Musharraf. The Chief Minister said that the provincial government is fully aware of its responsibilities towards eradicating the menace of terrorism and also in safeguarding and securing the shrines across the province. Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that all the religious scholars as well as people from all walks of life should play their part in uprooting the evil of terrorism from the society.
