ECL row: SHC rejects contempt of court plea of Ayyan Ali

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday has rejected the contempt of court plea of model girl Ayyan Ali as it is already under hearing in Supreme Court (SC).

According to details, the judge said that the verdict of SC is vital after which, SHC will announce its decision in the same case.

It is pertinent to mention here that Ayyan Ali submitted a plea in SHC against inclusion of her name in Exit Control List (ECL) for the third time.

The accused asked the court to annul the federation’s step of entering her name in ECL despite court’s order.

Earlier, Ayyan Ali was restricted by the immigration officials from proceeding with boarding on the plane at Karachi airport and was not allowed to leave the country after her boarding pass was cancelled by the authorities.

Immigration officials stated that they cannot allow the model to leave the country until they get permission from Islamabad.
