CPPA recommends compensation after lower production cost in May
Fuel worth Rs 34.23 billion was utilized for power production in May
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Central Power Purchasing Authority has recommended to compensate the masses for reduced price of power production in May, reported Thursday.
The authority has recommended cutting price by Rs 3.27 per unit.
National Electric Power Supply Company stated that production cost of electricity has decreased after record reduction in price of furnace oil. 9.7811 billion unit electricity was sold in May with production cost of a unit, Rs 3.49.
Fuel worth Rs 34.23 billion was utilized for power production in May.
