Summary The 12-member parliamentary committee will elect its chairman today
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Parliamentary committee formed in matter of appointment of Election Commission’s members will convene a session today, reported Thursday.
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq modulated the committee on recommendations of different parliamentary parties and replaced Senator Ayesha Raza Farooq with Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid.
Another member of the committee, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Shehryar Afridi was replaced by vice-chairman of the political party, Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
The 12-member parliamentary committee will elect its chairman today.
