RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Lack of water in Rawalpindi amid hot weather and Ramazan month has badly irked residents, reported on Saturday.
Water crisis in the metropolis has intensified in Tench Bhatta, Mughal Abad, Peoples Colony, Misrial Road, Dhoke Syedan and R.A. Bazaar, forcing the locals to stand in long queues for water.
The motor pumps have also been reported out of order for quite long time however, the local administration has not taken any concrete step to resolve the crisis so far.
The residents said that they are facing water dearth since first Ramazan but no one from government has visited the affected areas despite several complaints.
The natives have also requested the authorities to prepare strategy as early as possible in this regard.
