KARACHI (Dunya News) – Teachers and students at Karachi University will take oaths and testify their non-allegiance with any of the extremist outfits as some students were found involved in different cases in the past including Safoora Goth shooting, reported Friday.

Law enforcement agency has gathered data of the students enrolled in the university. Sources stated that the newly admitted students will fill forms in the matter.

Karachi university’s student, Saad Aziz was found involved in Safoora Goth carnage when terrorists had opened fire on a bus in May last year and killed at least 46 people.

Earlier last month, death warrants of Aziz among five ‘hardcore’ terrorists were signed by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations stated that all five terrorists admitted their offences before the trial court. Aziz was tried on nine charges.

The student was tried by military court which were established by bringing amendment in the Constitution after December 16, 2014 attack on Army Public School.
