Punjab: Another 45 dengue patients reported

Surge in the number of dengue patients continued across the country as another 45 affectees have been brought to the hospitals in the last 24 hours in Punjab alone, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours a staggering number of 183 patients have been tested positive for dengue fever, raising the total figure of dengue affected patients to a whopping 1,700. Eleven more cases from cities other than Lahore have also been reported, pushing up the number of patients suffering from dengue fever to 1,359. Fumigation is underway across the country.
