Summary Police have detained 16 accused during operations in different parts of Karachi on Wednesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against criminal elements in Karachi continued as police have apprehended 16 accused during operations in different parts of the city on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police arrested two accused in injured condition after an encounter in Korangi’s Zaman Town area. Police sources said that arms were also recovered from the arrested persons.
Police arrested another accused after an encounter near Saifi College in Haidri area. A police official, Khalid sustained injuried during the encounter. The arrested person was identified as Asif.
On the other hand, police conducted a search operation in Guzri area in District South and detained 13 persons. Police sources said that arms were also recovered from the arrested persons.
