Cannot get rid of corruption under current rulers: Siraj

JI chief said that a thief cannot conduct accountability against another thief
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq stated on Sunday that the corrupt ones in the country cannot be curtailed under the current leadership as they are a hurdle towards a corruption-free Pakistan, reported Dunya News.
While addressing Corruption-free Pakistan children walk organised by Jamaat-e-Islami, Siraj said that the children of the nation are demanding a corruption-free Pakistan for a brighter tomorrow, adding that the leaders have indebted them by taking loans to fulfill the luxuries of their own children.
He added that the rulers have looted the money from the country and have transferred it abroad. Siraj suggested that those named in the Panama Papers should exhibit some moral courage and separate themselves from any public designations that they hold.
JI chief said that a thief cannot conduct accountability against another thief. He stated that if the courts do not provide justice then the public shall conduct accountability of the corrupt ones on the streets.
Children participating in the walk led by Sirajul Haq headed towards Quaid-e-Azam s mausoleum while chanting slogans of Pakistan Zindabad . The children also presented tableaus on corruption.
